Job Summary:

Basic Engineering Concepts & Technologies, Inc. (BecTech) is a Small Business Program Management and Engineering Services provider to Department of Defense (DoD) Agencies. BecTech is seeking professional candidates to fill the position of full-time Engineer in Crystal City, VA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide systems engineering support for design, development, production, and in-service activities including system analysis, combat system integration, modeling and simulation, and participation in requirements development and maintenance.
• Provide technical inputs in Safety and Electromagnetic Environment Effects (E3) areas including reviewing and analyzing plans, schedules, tests, test results, and data packages.
• Assist in managing digital efforts such as DevSecOps and Agile development-related activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, senior-level briefings, and other reporting requirements.
• Participate in program and technical review meetings.

Required Education/Experience:

• Requires minimum of 7 years of related professional experience; 10 years of experience is preferred.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field; Master's degree in a Technical Field is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work within a team.
• Good interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Possess good communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Able to obtain and retain a security clearance.

ADA SPECIFICATIONS:

• Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, and standing; frequent period of prolonged sitting may be required.
• Ability to speak, read, hear, and write, with or without assistance.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Travel: Less than 5% expected
